BSP™ Strategy Lab: Creating the Vision

Once management is familiar with the BSP™ concept and ready to begin to apply it to their board, the next step is the BSP™ Strategy Lab. The purpose of the Strategy Lab is to create a high-level holistic Better Schools Partnership™ Vision and Goals statement for maximizing school facility improvements. This enables management to meet with Ameresco Canada to create a more comprehensive Better Schools Partnership™ Solution Model that goes far beyond conventional energy management retrofits of the past.

Key Points about the BSP™ Strategy Lab:

  • It is sponsored by Ameresco Canada.
  • It is a two-day, off-site team meeting facilitated by a third-party consultant from Partnering Designs Inc.
  • Participants are generally the senior facility manager's team plus a school superintendent. Ameresco Canada is not represented at Strategy Labs.
  • There is a pre-lab orientation workshop as well as pre-work.
  • An output document is produced by the facilitator, which includes a one-page statement of the Better Schools Partnership™ Vision and Goals.

Main Benefits:
